What is Y.E.W.P.?+
Y.E.W.P. (Young Entrepreneurs With A Purpose) is a youth entrepreneurship and financial literacy program that prepares middle and high school students for success through hands-on learning, leadership development, career readiness, and real-world business experiences.
Who can participate?+
Y.E.W.P. is designed for middle and high school students. We partner with schools, community organizations, after-school programs, churches, and youth-serving organizations throughout Greater Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs.
What grade levels do you serve?+
Our primary focus is students in grades 9–12. We also offer entrepreneurship-focused programs for middle school students (grades 6–8) that are designed to introduce business concepts in an engaging, age-appropriate way.
How long are the programs?+
We offer flexible program options to meet each school's needs, including one-day workshops, multi-week programs, after-school sessions, and semester-long experiences. Our signature in-school program is typically six weeks.
Can schools customize the program?+
Yes. Every school has different goals, so we work with administrators and educators to tailor our curriculum, schedule, and activities to best serve their students.
Do students receive certificates?+
Yes. Students who successfully complete the program receive a Y.E.W.P. Certificate of Completion recognizing their participation and achievements.
